How Can a Bangladeshi Citizen Apply For USA Diversity Visa DV Lottery 2024?

In the Green Card Program for 2024, Bangladeshi citizens are not eligible to apply directly for the DV Lottery. However, individuals can apply if their spouse resides in an eligible country. Additionally, if you were born in a country where the original citizens are ineligible, but neither of your parents were born or legally resided there at the time of your birth, you may claim the country of birth of one of your parents if it is a country where its citizens are eligible for the DV 2024 program.

Way 2: Each Diversity Visa DV applicant must meet the DV program’s teaching / work experience requirements:

To meet the education or work experience requirement for the Diversity Visa DV program, you must have either completed a high school education or its equivalent (12 years of formal primary and secondary education), or have at least two years of training or experience in a profession that requires such qualifications gained within the last five years.

Which Countries Are Not Eligible Directly for USA Diversity Visa DV Lottery 2024?

In the DV 2024 program, citizens of 18 countries, including Bangladesh, will not be eligible to directly apply for the Diversity Visa. The United States State Department has determined that these countries have sent more than 50,000 immigrants to the US in the past five years. Along with Bangladesh, citizens of India, Pakistan, Brazil, Canada, Colombia, China, Philippines, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Haiti, Jamaica, Mexico, Nigeria, Peru, South Korea, Vietnam, and the United Kingdom (excluding Northern Ireland) are not eligible for direct participation in the DV 2024 program.
